Our goal is to educate and celebrate the heritage of simpler times when each angler would mix a 12-egg mix together, perhaps rolling bait on the bank and sharing even more special memories.
While technology has improved ingredients and knowledge, we have kept up with these advancements without losing that old school ethos.
Our flagship product, the HNV (High Nutritional Value) freezer bait known as "The Old School Essence," is designed for anglers who refuse to compromise on quality and want to give back to the carp with high-quality, digestible, and nutritionally dense food bait while also rolling back the years with a bait that was originally home-rolled and kept under wraps for a very long time.
The mix was tweaked to align with today’s best quality ingredients from trusted suppliers and reintroduced in 2025, drawing inspiration from over 40 years of combined angling and fishery management experience.
Although we still prefer to keep the specifics of this mix close to our chest, we have decided to make it available on today's market after many years of being reserved for a close-knit group.
Returning to our ethos, if we can inspire the newer generation to read a book by Rod Hutchinson or Terry Hearn instead of jumping on the latest trends on TikTok, we will consider it a success.
